Once again - Living in Plymouth - just for a few days.
Do you know that thanks to Leesa we are coming to the UK for a few days. And by "we" - I mean - Andrzej, Wojtek and me. We are departing from Wroclaw to London on Saturay 2nd of December and coming back on 5th of December.
I cannot wait that :). We'll meet beloved Leesa and her family and of course the Romanian girls, who are beloved as well :).

Back in Poland
Hello all.

I guess you've been wondering where I have been lately. I arrived to Poland (Wroclaw) on Monday at 11:00. My Dad picked me up from the bus station and he had had already brought my stuff for studies - so we went straight to my new place in Wroclaw.

I've been a bit busy with my studies. I feel strange - it takes time to adjust to new conidtions. And I miss the time spent in England and all the people I met there this summer.

Andrea B. - Romania
One of the girls from Romania who came just two weeks before we left. She used to work at Leesa's place - really supportive during building a wooden wall at Leesa's place(hope it's still there Leesa :D ). :D I'm happy to had had a few conversation with her before she left. Used to live with Carla in Plymouth, but now she is working and living in Torquay.

Andrea M. - Romania
Romanian girl - the same crew who often visited our place :). She taught me a bit Romanian and I taught her a bit of Polish. She drew for us a great picture - she spent something like three or four hours at night. Thanks!! :)

Andrzej - Poland
We stayed at the same place for three months, and you know how people can become friends spending much time with each other (well, don't think too much about that because you could come to a strange conclusions :P). Andrzej is famous for cleaning. He cleaned everything and it's his spécialité de la maison :). It was hard to make something to drink or to eat - spoons and forks disappeared immediately when they reached the surface of the table :). At first he worked in Clay Art in the old Plymouth district near the harbour then worked for Leesa and Mike and became beloved there :). Cannot count situations we had fun together - at the end he started to have the same sense of humour as we (Wojtek and me) :). Cheers!

Anja - Germany
One of two girls (the second is Christina) who made effort and came to Plymouth for a few days from Torquay. We spent the time usually at German's guys place or in The Skiving Scholar. One of the best friends of Daniel's :). I wish I could speak German as her ;).

Anna - France
French girl who joined the French crew after some time. We met in the bus going from Torquay to Plymouth. We share the same feeling for "Friends".

Brett - UK
A colleague from work. He's got something like 10 months to finish his work experience period. Wow! Good luck with that :D, but luckily it's paid :D. He was using Flash at work all the time (that was/is his job) but at the end of my stay he became interested in PHP so I recommended him a book - don't know if he is happy with that, are you ;)?

Carla - Romania
Could she beeee more sweet?   Misiaczek - we met at Monday meeting (which was actually held on Tuesday ;)) a few days after all the Romanian girls and guy came to England. Then there was party (well if you could call it that way) at our place and then it was better day by day until the last day when I had to leave. What can I say more - I will never forget everything about her. Funny thing she always encounters Polish guys no matter where she is :), and due to her studies she has been around ;).

Celia - France
I guess she came to France with Julie and Elodie but I'm not sure. The most funny thing I remember was staying for an hour or more and waiting for someone to make a decision in the middle of Plymouth. Celia and Xavi sat down and started to teach us dirty words. They also knew what "Idz od lasu" ("go to the forest") stands for. You can learn funny expressions talking to Polish guys. I found it so funny they knew that :D.

Christian - Germany
Christian is a German guy. Used to work in a gym. It was the best job placement and perfect environment for him. Work as a hobby that's a great combination. We made fun of Andrew who allegedly liked boys (which is of course... ;) hmm....) Back in Germany probably still working out.

Christin - Germany
She is also a girl from Torquay who came to Plymouth a few times. She has been to Poland and have family there so it was interesting to meet her. But she didn't speak Polish, maybe a bit. Pity! :).

Daniel - Germany
Our mate from Germany :). He was the first person who paid us a visit. The whole time he was in Plymouth we got along really great. We used to eat burnt pizza together (c'mon it was tasty!! :)) and drink a lot ;). I named one of the catalogues of pictures "at Daniel's" cause he was the person I knew the most among German crew. We used to play PES which I sucked at and he was always the winner :). When he was at our place I played Rammstein on purpose asking questions about lyrics and single words :).

David - UK
A colleague. Also a designer working with Flash (as all of them in my office). I was amused about him saying he had gone to Norway some time ago and that life there was more expensive than in England. I didn't think there was a country more expensive than England :). Go to Poland my friend, when it comes to prices you will experience salvation.

Diana - Portugal
I've met her while going to the first TTP party to Torquay. A young web designer so it I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you and expect some e-mails with your websites :). Funny thing to know: Portuguese sounds Spanish but Spanish people(like Xavi) don't get it. Good to know :D. They (Diana and Xavi) were always angry with each other not understanding one another.

Ellis - Germany
Hope, I spell it correctly :P. German crew member who I owe a few pictures which you can find in the photo gallery. She was also close with Magda and Sarah. We went together almost every time. Don't remember she stayed at home any time. She had the camera flash so strong I have my eyes closed in almost every picture!
Hope you are fine with your family now!

Elodie - France
She used to work in Clay Art with Andrzej and Julie. French girl who I met for the first time in "Cuba". She was with Julie then and I remember from that meeting she didn't say a word then. Julie said she was an angel and that angel don't speak much. Obviously Julie was a devil :). Hopefully it was okay afterwards. She didn't like me taking pictures of her. Don't know why, I said she is photogenic as hell and kept taking pictures ;).

Ewa - Poland
A Polish girl who I met thanks to Marta (they are friends). She is from Torun and as well as Marta studying there. She also was in England with Leonardo Da Vinci program but it was other organization that looked for a work and accommodation for her. Famous for not being on the picture taken by a guy from "party-picture-website" because she went to the toilet :).

Julie - France
Talking about Julie you should ask how is it possible to be so vigorous and so slim at once. I have no idea where she hid this energy and where did she get it from. As i mentioned earlier she was a devil. All the time a leader of the group :). Nothing happened without her attendance. She used to work in Clay Art and in The Skiving Scholar - that's why we used to go there a lot. Leesa would probably say - "crazy girl" - in a positive way of course :). You can find lots of pictures of her here - there is even a movie (well... slide-show) with her which I made. She's got an older sister - Lisa - who came to Plymouth for a few days.

Leesa - UK
Wow - here I could go on and on about how I miss her and admire her. If I had to put it into a one simple sentence I would say - one big inspiration! She is the most optimistic and cheerful person I have ever met. I loved our chats (thanks for the "Monday meetings" - that was what we had and what guys in Torquay didn't have). She has done so many different things in life that you could listen to her all the time. We had laugh all the time about everything around. She learned some Polish words and prepositions like - "a", "w", "z" :D. Funny thing she started to name all the things with -ski at the end -which was supposed to be a Polish word :D. Like tableski, roadski, friendski :D. Well there were so many situations that it's hard to remember all of them. Really caring and beloved person. She has a son Max and husband - Mike. Just for the record - she works in the Training Partnership so I was very happy she took care of us.

Lisa - France
Julie's sister who came to Plymouth to visit Julie. Very nice person who I talked with as much as I could because she stayed only for a few days. I sent her some Polish and other music cause we have the same taste. Her favourite is "Akurat". It must be extremely funny for her to listen to Polish lyrics :), the music is very cheerful that's why she liked it :) and I cannot disagree with her. I cannot wait to receive some of her's music :). She is probably fine, teaching at school now :).

Luis - Portugal
Mate from work. Learning Flash technology and he was really good at it supported by Tim. He sat next to me at work so we used to see each other every day. Thanks for the card in Varsity, man! :D Very useful.

Magda - Germany
A member of German crew - but - guess what!? she was half Polish. She spoke Polish as we did, almost no one would recognise. She had a bit of German accent and sometimes forgot Polish words but I say it was almost perfect Polish :D. I won't forget when one time going back from the pub she got into an encountered shopping cart which we found in the street. How scared she was :D when Daniel took over pushing the cart :D.
It was also fun to speak with her - cause other German guys didn't have a clue what we were saying :). Our spy in Germany.

Marta - Poland
The history of her is pretty much the same as Ewa's. But I didn't say how we met. Well, of course you could meet there Polish guys in every corner but we met each other thanks to my Italian colleague from work. Somehow she knew Marta and thought it would be nice for her to become acquainted with somebody from Poland. So we've met a few times in the city having beers and sharing feelings after staying for a few days/weeks in Plymouth.

Max - UK
Leesa's son who is 17 and is a successful kart racer - you should see the shelf with his prizes - it's huge. He was always at Monday meetings with us and went with us with a ferry to the island. I wish him many further achievements! :) You can visit his website - http://www.maxdaymond.com/

Mike - UK
Leesa's husband :). Very patient man - he was calm when I was cutting the board wrong or when I was nailing four nails down in the the same place. He drove us whenever it was needed - when we went to Torquay for example. He's got the sense of humour we like. Btw: Do you know any father who watches or knows what is South Park? AutoCad designer - hope you got this job in Oxford, maaaaan ;).
M'key so good luck and don't do drugs mmmmkeeeey ? ;).

Mohamed - Jordanie
Carla's hostbrother - he has lived in Plymouth for a few years if I remember correctly so he knows well the city.

Oana - Romania
Also a member of the Romanian crew - living just opposite Carla's place. At first we made fun of the name "Oana" sounds like "uana". Her first name Marie (Mary). So the combination seems to be obvious :) Mary Jane or marijuana :). But she didn't like it so we stopped calling her that. She is the person who learned a lot about Polish language - it was like the mission - I always saw here learning or teaching(Romanian) new words which was very nice of her. Also funny thing was to hear Polish words from Romanian Girl :).

Olivier - France
Actually I don't know how he joined our French-Spanish-Portuguese-Polish crew, he wasn't from TTP. I remember we wanted to go to some Jazz Club, we were so often in places like Varsity or Revolution - it's just noise, man!! :). But we failed to do that :). I think he stayed in Plymouth for longer. Good luck, man.

Paul - UK
My Boss. Always first at work. I have never been at work before him. Always cheerful. He was a typical English man for me :), especially with his sense of humour which was soooooo English! :). I would still like to see your pictures from Australia :).

Pierre - France
We've met for the first time at the first meeting with Leesa and Tracy (TTP) - there was also Elodie, Julie and us. Used to study IT and as it turned out we have the same subjects at university. He also went to the island with us and played PES at German guys' place. Stayed in the UK for studies. Be of good cheers!

Sarah - Germany
Sarah is a German girl who lived with Daniel, Magda, Ellis and Christian in one building, so we have met a lot. She used to work where Carla works now - Tell. It was next to the "Merlin Robotics" where Wojtek used to work so they used to take the same bus. So sad, I have to write "used to".

Tim - UK
He used to work in the office where I worked. Also designing stuff in flash. They all did that! Last time we were in some pub where all the guys from the office have lunches, played pool and we were so fucking great that we won :D. Oh yes I remember him saying bad words - so natural and so in the right place :D. I enjoyed our talks :).

Tom - UK
The New Wave Of British Flash Apprentices. Also a colleague. I remember meeting him once in Revolution - I was so shocked ;) - after all Plymouth has got a few places where people meet so it's not so hard to encounter someone you know. We have the same taste ;). Good at pool :).

Viola - Germany
Viola is a German girl who I often met but I don't know where she lived. Probably far, far away like Julie ;). She was from Germany but her roots are in Kazakhstan if I'm right. I forgot so many things ..ahh. We didn't even say goodbye to each other after leaving Andrzej and her alone ;). I'm joking ;P. I guess it was around the time I was going back to Poland to a wedding. Nice talker.

Wojtek - Poland
Wojtek. My roommate at first then I moved to the room next to ours. So we kept in touch using IM ;). Really nice person. When I had heard from him he hadn't had a quarrel in so much time he didn't even remember - I thought - so obvious! :). What we did, the time we spent and had fun will remain as one of the greatest time. I think it was so great because of the people, it always is, wherever you are. And the fact it was only three of us made us go out a lot :D. We understood each other without words ;) and we have the same sense of humour which was so fun - I've never met anyone with so similar sense of humour. But maybe I will disappoint the audience - I will not marry him ! :D.

Xavier - Spain
We've met for the first time in Varsity (he was there with Pierre waiting for us). Always ready to go out, good fellow! We've been to many places together, even the first party organised by TTP in Torquay - it was only him and Diana waiting at the bus station. And then we started to visit local pubs and enjoy Plymouth at nights.

Yerlan - Kazakhstan
Kazakhstan guy - Carla's and Mohamed's host brother. He has started learning English a few months ago, but he speaks like really experienced English language user. Sometimes forgets the words but he is doing really great. Carla loves him as well as Mohamed so I guess they get along really great :D. Still in Plymouth as Mohamed and the Romanian crew :).

There are also a few guys I haven't got pictures of right now. That would be Sally from the office. One time I was left alone at the office, all the guys went to some conference and Sally said sth like - OK, pawel, so answer all of my calls and take care of the office (Paul said sth like - you are in charge of the fort now ;)). So I did. I thought here is an opportunity to be creative and I wrote a memo that I answered all the calls and there was one call from the dean and that Sally probably wouldn't call him back because she was swamped with work. I left that at her desk and went to have a lunch. When I came back I was asked who left that ;), it turned out she called dean's secretary and they agreed it was misunderstaning - nobody actually called her :). So from that time I couln't answer any calls ;), all the guys from the floor I used to work at told me it was a good joke ("good job Pawel") ;). I thought she would read it and ask who left that when I was around - unfortunately I wasn't and completely forgot about that ;). A few days or next day I left her a memo - "I didn't even try to answer any calls. I think I deserve a cookie." And I got one :D.

Another would be Janice. He took care of every guy who was about to leave the office. She is not a apprentice but a regular employee of Plymouth University - Multimedia Office :). She bought gifts and cards for everyone for their's last days. Really cheerful and always laughing person :D.

There is also Justyna from Poland who we met in some pub in Plymouth, she was also in Plymouth with Leonardo Program. We've met a few times, but the one I will remember is when I came back to Plymouth after the wedding and was waiting for someone to pick me up. Nobody showed up so I talked to a woman who came to Plymouth with the same bus. We were waiting together for someone, but unfortunately the time was running and nobody was coming - I was going to call a taxi and I saw somebody sitting on the bench - it was Justyna who I already knew. she was waiting for her Mum and didn't see the bus coming (hmmm... that was hard to miss it ;)). So, luckily we took a taxi home - good because I had a lot of luggage.

There are also two guys, part of the Romanian crew - Irina (working in marketing) and Radu (working in Merlin Robotics - where Wojtek used to work) who I also met at the Monday (Tuesday) meeting. They went with us to the Hoe and were at our place the last two days. Pity, they lived so far from us. But they bought a car and go wherever they want now. Greets!

And there was a girl from Italy who was finishing her apprenticeship two weeks after I came to Plymouth - Sylvie. She was 18 we also talked a bit in the meantime an at work. I wonder how she is doing at school now.

That would be it. I had a great time in Plymouth and surely would like to come back next year :). Greetings to everyone, have a nice time wherever you are!
